Baby Food and Cuteness

This has been a slow week with a crazy weekend. Sweetness had another doctor's appointment: she is still on the smaller side but growing fairly steadily. We ran errands, I lazed around pretending I had things to do online before we lost our internet on Friday....(of course, we are currently house-sitting so I only had a few days without it so far). Then the weekend came. It involved a wedding, lots of cleaning, and lots and lots of pureed baby food! My freezer is small to start with, and now it is busting with frozen cubes and sticks (I have two shapes of ice 'cube' trays and they were all put into use :-) )
This is the stockpile of peas, corn, broccoli, cauliflower, squash, green beans, yams, carrots, pinto beans, and pears (only one fruit right now, she is on a mission to hate them lately). We also have applesauce but that is cheaper for me to buy pre-made in a nice big jar!

We were also able to see my parents for awhile which was super fun. I had a picture idea in my head that a friend mentioned and wanted to try it out, my parents were kind enough to oblige! So here is the cuteness aspect mentioned in the title of my post:
If you zoom in really closely you can even see her little teeth showing :-)

My hope is that I am able to begin my internetless (yes, that is now an official word from the Melody dictionary) life the way I would like to, by being a better wife and mom, keeping the house clean (or getting it there to start with), having adventures in bread-making for my husband, and maybe getting a little scrap-booking done here and there. Hope the cuteness brightened your day like it does mine!
