Boot-camp, Babies, Bowling and Bread

I have officially begun to get my be-hind beat into shape (hopefully both literally and figuratively)! Yesterday I woke up at the very unhappy hour of 4:30am so I could get to boot-camp by 5:45. Let’s just say that is not my best hour of the day. I was able to find a really good deal for 9 days of butt-whooping for less than $60. Hopefully it will get me started working out on my own as well once it is over…that’s the goal! Please pray for me as I go through this. I not only am immensely out of shape and therefore sore, I am also very hard on myself. I get discouraged quickly and mad at myself when I see other people doing things I can’t right now (even though they have been doing this for months if not longer) because I used to be able to. I keep telling myself it doesn’t matter but if you could pray that I would do my best and not get mad at myself that would be great!

That’s it for the boot-camp, onto the babies. Well, one baby (no I am not pregnant). Tooth number three has made a very obvious appearance this week and tooth number four is looking like it may not be too far behind. I cannot believe how quickly they are coming in, or how fast she is growing up to begin with! She is also having some tummy troubles…stop reading now for those who don’t want to know more J She used to have pretty solid poopies, but now they are more mush and seem to be bothering her. She is eating all veggies, some proteins, and dry rice puffs as she won’t touch the fruits much lately. If any mommies (or daddies) have any suggestions send them my way!

Bowling! We had a great coupon that we were able to use with some of our friends this weekend. Two hours of cringing as my ball either totally failed (most of the time), or did half-way decent (not as often). It was a lot of fun… although when you go with two friends who have their own balls and shoes… you know you’re going to be shown up J We had a blast, now I have to remember how to keep my old foot injury from flaring up next time. When it starts to hurt I bowl differently (and better!) and it stops hurting… I just have to remember that at the beginning instead of half way through each time J

Now then, moving on to my fourth alliterative attempt of the day, bread. As some of you know I am sensitive to wheat, so making wheat bread is not at the top of my list of things to accomplish. In our efforts to save money I am price-checking a homemade bread recipe against the normal cheap blah bread that we normally get for hubby. So, I made a loaf first to see if it was even any good. It was, and I am jealous. In some ways I hope it isn’t cost effective because then I won’t have to smell it without being able to eat it J I am going to try and make it with rye flour though for myself and see how that works. I will do my best to take some pictures next time and post those with the recipe for those who would like it. As well as my wheat free version if it turns out (NOT Gluten Free though as rye has gluten, sorry to those who are totally gluten free).

So, there you have it, my week in alliteration. I hope it made you smile, cringe, and laugh along with me J
