Life in the Fast Lane...or was it?

This week seemed to be filled with lots of things and yet nothing at all. We had car issues at the beginning of the week, with one car needing a new battery and the other ending up with a flat tire that needed fixing. This was interspersed with errands, walks with cutie pie, and a birthday party. The party was a great deal of fun. Time at the park with friends, watching my almost one year old (yikes that’s scary) figure out how to walk in the grass on her own, and great fellowship all made for a fun day. Fast-forward to later that night…not so fun. We were there a maximum of 2 ½ hours and I was mostly in the shade. Did this matter to my skin? NO. The majority of me was fine, but I had on a tank top, and my shoulders did not stop burning until the wee hours of the morning this morning. No blisters, but lots of uncomfortableness (yes, I know this is not a real word J). Taking care of a kiddo with hubby at work is not so much fun in those circumstances.  Thankfully it is clearing up (most likely to peel in the near future). I also managed to finish a scrapbook! I am officially all the way through our first year of marriage (only a vacation, 1 ½ years, and a baby book to go!) and I am out of scrapbook sticky squares (which last me twice as long as they would because I cut them in half to save money). Sadly, I am done scrapbooking until the next budget rolls around and I can get more J We are also in the process of getting back on top of the cleaning that fell off some while I had back issues. Yay! That was it for my very random, busy, lazy, rambling week and this very random and rambling post J
