So yesterday my husband was gone almost all day :-( He had a job interview that he left for at around 9:30 (don't know whether or not he got it yet) after a flurry of getting ready which left the room in a mess....sigh. After he left I did a general cleaning of our room and then headed out the door.
My Christmas gift from my in-laws and grandma-in-law was a shopping trip with my mother-in-law....there were a lot of "in-laws" in that sentence....anyhow. We spent several hours shopping and I got two new belts, a new necklace, and a new shirt (not bad for one afternoon).
Once we returned I did laundry, went through my closet and got rid of shirts that no longer fit me (well, they are sitting in a pile for my sisters, so I guess I haven't really gotten rid of them yet), and applied for some more jobs. Finally, at around 7:30 hubby got home. We then read a chapter in our book and went to bed....boring, I know.
Today I hope to bake some bread from a new book I got for Christmas. If I actually get around to making it I'll post some pictures and the recipe tomorrow :-)
