Pain, Books, & Jobs

Yesterday was a full day. First, my husband decided that we needed to exercise, which I agreed with. Little did I know that this meant we would be going on a 7.5 mile roller-blading excursion. Granted, it was partially my fault as I am stubborn and would not give up until we reached the end of the path, but it was his fault for making me choose when we would turn back :-P I could barely stand when I took the roller-blades off, thirty minutes later I was fine....go figure.

We also decided to use the Barnes and Noble gift card that we got for Christmas. We have not had a chance to read for relaxation in a long time so we decided that we would get some books that we would both enjoy and read them together. We found a three book series by an author my hubby liked and began to read. It's fun to read aloud to each other, but my throat didn't like it so much after the second chapter. We read four chapters total, probably won't read that much straight for awhile but it was a fun way to relax together at the end of a long day.

I also redid my resume about three times for different positions and applied for six jobs. That was the not so fun part of the day, but necessary. Hopefully one of them will work out. Waiting for God's timing is sure not easy, but I keep reminding myself that he knows best and will send the right job along when the time is right. I keep hoping that it's soon.....I know, it's not up to me, but it sure would be nice.

Time for another packed day :-)
