I have never really thought of myself as a shoe person. I mean, I like a good pair of shoes as much as the next girl, and I don't want to look like a complete clod, but I have never been overly picky about making sure I have a zillion pairs of cute shoes.
Oddly enough, that seems to be changing lately. I have found that I like cute shoes, and want them. But sadly, this is not to be the case, for multiple reasons:
1) Shoes are expensive
2) All the cute shoes are sizes 5-7 1/2, not the 8 1/2 ish that my feet are in most heels
3) My feet aren't used to them! They hurt, and I can't figure out how to make them not hurt :-(
4) I don't have much reason to wear them and therefore even less reason to buy them
5) There are not enough nice clothes in my closet to wear them with
But I still see cute shoes and sigh, wishing life was different, that I had smaller feet, and could somehow make the pain of wearing them go away. Since it is not I will just stare at those cute shoes and return home to the few pairs I own, but can still barely keep on for long.
