Job

Ok, why does getting a job cost so much money? Isn't that like the opposite of what a job is supposed to do, which is give you money?

For those of you who don't know, I got a job. I will be working as a waitress at Gulfstream in Century City like 3 miles from the Beverly Hills triangle (which I think is kinda cool). But, to begin work I must buy the things I need to work. Ouch. $100 later I am finally ready. But that $100 hurts.

New pants, two new shirts, plus undershirts, new makeup (because I don't have what I need, I'm cheap, I make it last years....) You wouldn't think all that adds up to $100 but it does, believe me. So, despite the excitement of getting a job and starting work, I now want to know when the first check is to make it up :-) Ah well, the price of having a job.
