Meat Lover's Pizza Bake

So I tried another new recipe, with some variations of my own :-) I'm not sure I've ever followed a recipe exactly unless it was while I was baking. So, here is my version of the Pizza Bake.

Meat, Bell Pepper, and Spices
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
15 oz spaghetti sauce
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp powdered onion
1 1/2 cups mix of cheddar and pepper-jack cheese
3/4 cups biscuit mix
2 eggs
3/4 cups milk

Preparation:
Before Baking
In a large skillet, cook beef and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink (add in garlic and onion); drain. Stir in the sauce. Transfer to a greased baking dish (I used a 9x13 as I doubled the recipe). Sprinkle with cheese. In a small bowl combine eggs, milk, and biscuit mix until blended. Pour evenly over cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Variations:
The original recipe had you add pepperoni and olives and use mozzarella cheese. It also said to use pizza sauce but spaghetti sauce works just as well. I also added the spices :-)

Tip:
If you don't have baking mix you can find some recipes online, just use it as you would a store-bought one in the Pizza Bake (That's what I did)

Finished :-)
